    • Great knife for the price.
      Reviewer: David Vasquez

      6/15/2017

Wow! I paid 14.99 for ea. knife. It has a good blade AUS 8 and it feels like quality and very stout. I ordered three and I am very happy with them. Very versatile in carry in any attire from suits to shorts. The knives needed to come a little more sharpened. However, they sharpened quickly.

So easy to deploy. Even though there is no spring assist, with the flick of your wrist, this knife deploys quick, and feels great in the hand. I got it on sale, and it has become my EDC knife until I find something else!

    • Ok, but not my style
      Reviewer: Bud Rogers

      6/8/2017

Only picked up because it was a great price on a 5.11 due to other purchases. Not my style, only like the kind I can open with one hand. My fault for not reading close enough. Comfortable grip but not sharpened. Don't think I should have to sharpen a new knife. Haven't had time to try but have to question if it will hold an edge.

      Reviewer: Mark Price

      3/15/2017

I was a little disappointed when I got the knife, it wasn't very sharp. After I spent a little time on it though it came around. I haven't used it enough to tell how it will hold an edge, but I'm very pleased with the ease of opening and overall size of the knife. I'd buy another for a spare.

This knife is perfect for everyday carry. It has a very slim design and you don't even notice it in your pocket. The blade has enough belly to slice through things like boxes and envelopes and it's perfect for lightweight cutting tasks.

    • Very Cheap Quality
      Reviewer: Conner

      12/9/2016

Feels very cheap, handle is flimsy at best and open blade isn't very secure during use. Overall disappointed with it, but that's 5.11 for ya.

      12/6/2016

I really wasn't expecting it to be as nice as it is. Bought for a add on present for a family member. Was pleasantly surprise by this on. It is thin, but not cheap at all. Great for everyday carry in your pocket. Well constructed and a very good blade on it. I was so impressed with it I had to come back and buy two more for other family members as well!

      Reviewer: Charles Kauwell

      12/5/2016

One of best deals I have ever seen on 5.11 Tactical Blade at $14.95! The AUS-8 blade was in great shape for being factory sharp and meets my minimum steel strength for EDC...I am harsh on blades. They are screwdrivers, prybars, cable tie cutters... and this had a thick profile so it should hold up to the abuse. My only complaints are the Blade edge profile and pocket clip points The "wave" used in this Blade and many of the Emerson blades is a pain to sharpen compared to tantos, spear points and drop points. Also, the reversible pocket clip is only side to side for a lefty/righty swap and does not accommodate a blade down carry position in the pocket which I prefer. Overall a 4.5 out of 5. I plan to carry it a while and see how I feel and if one of the 5.11 Scout Spearpoints comes open at this price I will need to grab it as this allows for the blade down carry.

      10/27/2016

The knife fits nicely in the hand. Seems to be built extremely sturdy and easy to single hand open when needed. I cannot wait to see how it holds up in the field. I like the fact it came with extra belt clip and tools needed for replacement. Well thought out design.

It holds an edge well. I really like the size of the knife. I carry a knife on my person everyday, so I can immediately tell this is a quality knife. I like the clip doesn't fall out whatsoever. Comes sharpe right out of the box. Overall worth it!

    • Great knife for everyday use.
      Reviewer: Gunther Van Steen

      9/16/2016

The knife offers many grip positions, which is perfect. The belt clip can be adjusted for right and left handed users and has stability (does not wear out). Dependable blade. Sharp, and I did not have to tighten the blade like expected when ordering online. I recommend.
