Way to go Gerber ! The E-Z Out Skeleton is another chip off the ol' block . I've had this about a week and a half and really am a happy customer . The Gerber quality shows on every knife I own and E-Z Out is NOT a disappointment in any fashion . Ya'll have life long customers in me, my daughter, and now my son-in-law . We all appreciate the fine American quality and design of the Gerber knives . Keep up the fine work .

I have had several knives in the past, but once I tried this one, I keep going back. I love where the pocket clip is located for easy right hand draw, open, use, and put back in pocket with one hand. Glad to see they are still available after many years.

I have had two of these knives before and they have been great for my needs. It comes out of the box sharp and holds an edge rather well. It is not too hard to break the tip if you use it to pry things though. If you use your knife for such things, I would choose a different model. One thing that I love about this knife is that the lock disengage is not in the lining, it is on the spine and easily accessible. I am a Customs Officer and I routinely cut open boxes, packages, etc. while wearing search gloves. Most new knives have the lock disengage in the liner and it is difficult to manipulate while wearing gloves. This is a good, inexpensive knife that I would definitely recommend.

I love this knife, it is nothing less than top quality, used it on hiking trips and shaved wood for kindling and tinder for starting a fire and it stayed sharp for a good long tine before i had to re-sharpen the blade. Handle is very sturdy for a plastic handle, when or if the knife breaks, i will certainly buy another one of these.
