- Built Footwear is the latest work boots line by Georgia Boot. Built Footwear is inspired by a long history of handcrafting work boots that dates back all the way to 1932. That's when two brothers put together a business plan after losing big during the Great Depression. The Ohio-based shoe company, later known as Rocky Brands, continued to grow through the years and soon diversified by adding brands like Georgia Boot. Georgia Boot has become a gold standard in the occupational footwear world with its exceptionally high standards and uncompromising quality.
