About Georgia
- During the throes of the Great Depression, two brothers found hope in a shoe company. By the mid-1930s, the Ohio-based business, known today as Rocky Brands Inc., was churning out 2,000 pairs a day with 225 employees on staff. Eventually the manufacturer introduced a specialized work boots brand called Georgia Boot. In the early '90s, Georgia Boot changed the industrial footwear market when it introduced the Comfort Core Insole Technology. Setting the bar for innovation, Georgia Boot continually takes steps into the future by incorporating features such as Gore-Tex lining and Thinsulate insulation. Laboratory tested and OSHA-approved, its boots remain a No. 1 choice for the American workforce.
