About Georgia
- During the throes of the Great Depression, two brothers found hope in a shoe company. By the mid-1930s, the Ohio-based business, known today as Rocky Brands Inc., was churning out 2,000 pairs a day with 225 employees on staff. Eventually the manufacturer introduced a specialized work boots brand called Georgia Boot.
