About Rockport
- Founded by a father-son duo in 1971, Rockport continues to set the standard in footwear advancement. While its shoes and boots were first sold out of the back of a van, the New England company has since broadened its horizons. It produces footwear that combines technologies such as Vibram soles, DMX, Walk Dry and Extreme Conditions Systems. The Dynamic Suspension provides additional comfort in the insoles. Possessing similar characteristics of rugged military and hiking boots, Rockport promises its footwear will feel and perform more like running shoes. Those wearing its boots and shoes will have military hardiness and civilian comfort.
