They are made without any metal on the upper, which makes them safe in the case of electrical hazards. The rubber outsoles with compressed EVA midoles offer a great balance of protection and give, while the dynamic suspension system cradles and supports feet through the duration of an outdoor hike or adventure. Another great feature of these boots is their ability to protect feet from wetness. The moisture wicking nylon mesh and sealed seams are perfect for the job.

About Rockport
- Founded by a father-son duo in 1971, Rockport continues to set the standard in footwear advancement. While its shoes and boots were first sold out of the back of a van, the New England company has since broadened its horizons. It produces footwear that combines technologies such as Vibram soles, DMX, Walk Dry and Extreme Conditions Systems. The Dynamic Suspension provides additional comfort in the insoles. Possessing similar characteristics of rugged military and hiking boots, Rockport promises its footwear will feel and perform more like running shoes. My feet are very picky when it comes to work shoes.
It's almost impossible for me to find ones that don't hurt my feet.
I used to wear Knapp shoes for years until they went out of business.
Then I found these Rockport Works.
