When you select this work boot you are choosing a lot more than just a shoe… you are choosing peace of mind for your personal safety. This work boot has fantastic safety features such as its steel shank for added support and steel toe that has undergone extensive impact and compression testing. The testing has determined that this Rocky work boot can withstand up to 75 lbs. of impact against blunt force and static pressure.
The 8 inch Rocky 6694 work boot meets electrical hazard standards by having insulating bottoms that do not contain metal that would conduct electricity. This work boot has a 7 layer slip and oil resistant outsole that will assist in keeping you safe. This tread also creates cushioning and support. The oil resistance helps improve the work boot’s durability against oily surfaces that quickly degrade and add wear and tear to work boots.
Not only does this boot cover your safety requirements, it also fulfills your general comfort needs with its EVA midsole that adds to the shoes overall lightness. This steel toe boot also has a removable polyurethane footbed that helps create more spring and less resistance with each step. The waterproof construction and Thinsulate Insulation™ allows you to work productively throughout the day with warm and dry feet no matter what the conditions.
