Men's 5.11 8" EVO Side-Zip Waterproof Boots

5.11 8" EVO Side-Zip Waterproof sets the standard for versatile, functional and ultra-durable tactical footwear. Designed to withstand rough, uneven terrain, these boots utilizes an oil- and slip-resistant 5.11 rubber outsole, which features fence-climbing lugs and an open midfoot for rope and ladder climbing. A D3O foam heel cartridge provides impact resistance, and an EVA midsole is engineered to absorb shock for softer landings and a lighter stride. The OrthoLite insole and nylon shank offer superior cushioning and torsional rigidity, which prevent foot fatigue and reduce the risk of ankle and heel injury. By incorporating an eVent membrane, the boot becomes waterproof, bloodborne pathogen resistant and breathable for superb comfort and protection. There is also a defined heel brake for easy removal and a friend-finder tracking logo molded into the rugged outsole for quick identification.
