The 6" Highridge ST Met Guard was designed to give dependable foot security without having to sacrifice comfort. Poron XRD internal met guards provide thin, lightweight breathable impact protection engineered for repeated shock absorption. During normal wear XRD met guard is soft, flexible and comfortable. Upon impact XRD instantly firms to form a protective shell that protects the instep from impact, instantly dissipating force, absorbing up to 90% of energy.

- Insole: Removable EVASteel toe meets ASTM F2413 standards
- Poron XRD internal metatarsal guard meets or exceeds ASTM F2413 and EN ISO 20345 safety standards
- Meets or exceeds ASTM class 75 Impact and Compression standards
- Under Class 75 test for impact the boot must withstand a 75 lb. impact with 0.50" clearance
- Under Class 75 test for compression the boot must withstand 2,500 lbs. of compression while maintaining at least 0.50" clearance
- Electrical hazard protection meets ASTM EH standards
- Under dry conditions EH protection must be able to endure the application of 18,000 volts at 60 hertz for one minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 1.0 milliamperes
- Non-conductive electrical shock resistant soles and heels protect against accidental contact with live electrical circuits, electrically energized conductors, parts or apparatus
- Lightweight, thin and breathable Poron XRD met guard is engineered for repeated impact and shock absorption
- Met guards are traditionally used in areas where there is a higher risk of objects falling or rolling on the instep of workers feet
- Moisture wicking nylon mesh lining
- Removable EVA cushioned insole provides enhanced cushioning for comfort
- EVA insole has sponge rubber heel wedge for enhanced heel cushioning and better lock down fit
- EVA midsole provides padded stability
- Rubber outsole with varied lug design offers great grip on surfaces
