The Responder is a compact EDC model Lansky designed for rapid deployment and a secure, stable locked blade. Built from precision-crafted 440C stainless steel, the 3-inch blade is sharp, durable and surgical. It is supported by a rugged nylon handle with a stainless steel liner lock for safe operation. The pocket clip is adjustable for two-position carry, with the tip up or with the tip down. This knife also comes with Lansky's popular Blademedic knife sharpener, which features a Tungsten carbide notch for precision sharpening, as well as a ceramic notch for blade polishing. There is a flat, serrated-knife sharpener that reaches the smallest serrations and a diamond-tapered sharpening rod for blade maintenance and reconditioning. The sharpener is not only a useful tool for this model, but for any personal knife that is frequently used.
