Rocky

Rocky

Rocky footwear's history stretches back to 1932 when brothers William and F.M. Brooks opened the William Brooks Shoe Co. in Nelsonville, Ohio. The company manufactured boots for the military and major retailers, including Sears and JCPenney, for decades, but by the 1970s, the footwear industry took a dip and the William Brooks Shoe Co. looked outdated. After deciding it was time for a new look and a new name, the company began manufacturing outdoors and tactical footwear and adopted the name Rocky to reflect the new image. Rocky quickly made strides in the footwear industry as one of the first brands to incorporate Cordura fabrics and GORE-TEX technology. For hardwearing, performance-focused boots and shoes, you can count on Rocky.
