Weighing next to nothing, the Coast FX175 2" Frame Lock Knife is built for backpackers and anyone else who needs a capable blade without adding weight or bulk to their pack. A nylon micro handle sits on just one side of the stainless steel frame, keeping the overall footprint slim while still preventing the closed blade edge from snagging on gear or clothing. A thumb hole cut into the blade makes one-handed opening quick and comfortable, and the frame lock mechanism automatically secures the blade in the open position, giving you built-in protection while the knife is in use. At just over an ounce, it's easy to forget it's even in your pocket until you need it.
