Work boot performance with casual hiking boot style, the Alterra CT WP delivers on comfort and durability to get the job done. In the upper, rugged leather and durable nylon are combined to provide unmatched abrasion-resistance and resiliency. ASTM rated composite toe caps and electrical hazard protection provide uncompromising safety protection from jobsite dangers. Rubberized heel and toe wraps help to protect against damage in these high stress areas. Highly engineered Dry-Core barriers offer 100% waterproof protection and moisture-transfer, keeping you dry and comfortable all day long.
Features of Men's LaCrosse Alterra Composite Toe Waterproof Boots
- Composite toe meets ASTM F2413 I/75 C/75 standards
- Meets or exceeds ASTM class 75 Impact and Compression standards, the highest available strength for impact and compression
- Under Class 75 test for impact the boot must withstand a 75 lb. impact with 0.50" clearance
- Under Class 75 test for compression the boot must withstand 2,500 lbs. of compression while maintaining at least 0.50" clearance
- Composite toe caps will not conduct heat, cold or electricity
- Electrical hazard protection meets ASTM F2892-11 EH standards
- Shock-resisting soles and heels are capable of withstanding an application of 18,000 volts at 60 Hz for one minute with no current flow or leakage current in excess of 3.0 milliamperes under dry conditions
- Leather and 1000 Denier nylon uppers resist scuffs while enhancing breathability
- Dry-Core highly engineered, waterproof barrier lines the entire boot for 100% waterproof protection that allows moisture to escape without letting water in
- Rubberized heel and toe wraps provide abrasion-resistance
- Durable metallic hardware
- Removable molded EVA insole provides comfort cushioning
- Lightweight fiberglass shank for torsional stability and better arch support
