About Magnum
- Springing from Hi-Tec Sports, Magnum's birth was a result of a request from the FBI for lightweight, athletic black tactical boots in the early 1980s. Pleased with the end-result, the FBI spread the word about the boots. Members of law enforcement and security agencies decided to try out the groundbreaking footwear. Throughout the years, it has continued to have a strong research and development presence. As its reputation grew, Magnum became a heavy contender in the footwear and apparel industry and officially separated from Hi-Tec. Great Boots

I have owned two pairs of Magnum boots and I wouldnt go back to anything else. Iam in the military and very hard on my boots. They are durable, light weight and very comfortable. Iam looking forward to my next pair being the same way.

Let me say that this review is in no way a reflection of MilitaryBoots.com. their staff and customer service is hands down the best I've received in quite a long time. But Magnum seriously needs to reevaluate their design and quality here. I've been through two pairs of boots in less than 5 months. I'm not overtly hard on my boots, I work security so all I do is stand in them, no real stress. But both pairs have failed in the exact same way. The stitching on the sewn in eyelets fail. Thus making the boots fit and tie improperly. The first pair was replaced under the manufacturer 6 month warranty, but after the second pair failed I've decided not to waste my time again. Time to cut my losses and run. Best advice I can give is to simply AVOID PURCHASING ANYTHING MAGNUM AT ALL COSTS!!!
