About Muck

Muck redefined the rubber boot. Springing from the need for comfortable rubber boots, it provides high-performance footwear options for men and women who work in tough and mucky conditions. Developed by an athletic shoe company employee, the rubber-boot clad inventor dreamed up the idea for Muck while shoveling snow. Realizing there had to be a better way, he pieced together a prototype and tested it out. That marked the genesis of the first truly comfortable work boot. The Best Rubber Boots I have Owned

I tried on about five different styles of Lacrosse, Bogs and Muck boots. Of all of them, these fit the best, by far, and gave the best support. My ankles turned in the other boots on the boot test incline ramp at the store and my heels lifted as I walked around the shoe department. But not with these Chore Boots. And when I took them to the field, their performance was just as good, whether it be climbing up and down the mountains or wading through the scrub pine-choked bogs of Newfoundland. While my rainsuit was shredded by the scrub pine, my boots are still practically like new. You know you have good equipment when other hunters, as well as your guide and the outfitter, ask you about your gear. They were all very impressed by the Muck Chore Boots. I can recommend them without equivocation. And do really need camo boots on your feet?
