Men's Thorogood 6" American Heritage Moc Toe Wedge ST

I have worn Red Wings until they just priced me out of their league. I searched the internet for several months looking for a good boot made in the USA. Thorogood boots fit the bill. American cowhide, brass eyelets/hooks, triple stitching, attractive styling, all day comfort, and reasonable pricing. I will buy them again !

As I enter my 20s, I am expanding my wardrobe to be ore than plain sneakers. I'd been looking into a good pair of boots for a long time. I wanted them to work in tough conditions (rain, snow) and in a regular setting. I found these featured on a blog and was lured in by the Made in America construction and unbeatable price. With a little bette rmarketing and press, Thorogood could easily compete with Red Wing on a larger scale. 3 months in, these boots are working fantastic, I've worn them out in the snow and rain and around downtown L.A. and they work equally well. With consistent care, these'll last a lifetime I'm sure. Be sure to get some thick wool socks to wear with em though!

These shoes look great and are extremely comfortable. I had to buy these shoes twice though. I read most of the reviews and people advised sizing down but I feel these fit pretty true to size even if they are slightly loose. The quality is really high and I've gotten compliments on them. I do wish the could give you the option of not having the Made In USA tag. Nothing against American made products but it kinda sticks out too much for me. Great shoes though and feel like they'll last forever.

These Thorogood boots are American made and put together with top quality materials and craftsmanship. They are generous in sizing, so if you order your normal size you will have some extra room. If you like your boots to fit snug, then order 1/2 size down. Wienbrenner, the maker of Thorogood boots, has a sizing chart on their website. My left foot, which is slightly larger than my right, measured 11 1/2 inches, which equated to a size 12 boot on their sizing chart. So I ordered the 12 and the fit, with a work sock, is perfection for me. Buy this boot with confidence; you will not be disappointed. Plus I think these boots look great with jeans and will give me many years of good use.
