I have been wearing Chippewa boots for about 15 years and this boot is my favorite. I've tried other brands in the past and none come close as far as comfort, durability and being waterproof. My only complaint is that Chippewa states that this boot is made in USA but nothing on the boot or the box states that. There is a little tag that says the boot is assembled in the US with imported materials. I don't remember seeing this in the past but if this boot appears to be inferior in any way I will no longer buy Chippewa boots.

They are a good boot ,quality is good as long as you buy the American version, only issue I have is the Knockoffs are a cheap piece of shit that I found out the hard way when my guys and I were only getting 8 months out of a pair of boots and nobody picked up on it including me. I was buying close to 16 pairs a year of the loggers for my men.

First of all made in the USA,well made, good fit and seems to be true to size.I have been wearing them every day since they were delivered, about 10days thus far. Did take longer to (break in) than the brand I previously wore. However I have no other complaints with these boots. Wear them on my job as a Industrial Maintenance Electrical Tech and at home on our Small Farm operation. So this should be a good test for durability.

I would like to know what kind of warranty these boots come with?? I buy two pair of these boots fort my boys almost every fourteen months. Either some is falling off, inside of both false to the bottom of boot , stitching starts to come apart. Please of anybody knows anything on warranty please let me know..

I work in the gas and oil field. It is very hard to find a good pair of water proof boots that will last over 2 - 3 months. I got these boots and they were awesome. I told everyone to buy them. But within 3 months the laces broke and within 4 my feet are soaked. And 2 guys at work that listened to me didn't even last that long. So as far as I can say for double the price of other boots. I have a hard time justifying buying them again. Ps. Keeping them clean and treating them with recommend oil. Does not help the longevity of the boots either...

I just bought my 5th pair of these. The previous 4 pairs provided me with over 12 years of good service. I put each pair through some very rigorous use- logging and dragging brush, in and out of streams and wetlands doing stewardship work, farming, excavating- getting them soaked and then dried and soaked again. Admittedly, I did not give them the best of care, but they still lasted. I have style 25405, steel toe, waterproof with insulation. I had been without for about six months. I put my new pair on five days ago, and my feet were right back at home- very little break in time, if any.

I have worn these boots for several years. I have rode my Fulldresser with these many miles. I would be walking with a stump on my left leg if it were not for these boots. The emergency staff cut the left boot right off my foot without even loosening up the laces. I sewed it back together and wore it for another three years. Then I bought another pair. A fine boot if ever there were one.
